This helps young people find additional ways to be inspired and deal with the challenges in their life to become empowered adults and agents of change for their future and our community.

Saturday May 5 @ 1:30pm Join us for our annual Tea for Two event.  We are so happy to host another year of this fun event. We’ve also added a Pop-up shop this time for everyone to check out some fantastic vendors and buy great mother’s day gifts.  Email us to reserve your spot!

We celebrated Black History month with an AMAZING mobile inventors museum featuring all inventors of african heritage.  It was great to see the children learning about the creations that they didn’t know about.  Even a few teachers were surprised!

We worked with the young people at City Hope Summer Camp to create their Canada to celebrate Canada 150.  They created their own quilt painting, stitching, printing, it kept growing bigger and bigger. The finished product was amazing!

DIY Art club    Willow Park JPS here are some of the ‘gems’ from our programs.  SHOUT OUT these three ‘gems’ Marwa, Tisya and Abintha. These 11yr old young  ladies created their own art club in school this year called DIY art club (sign up, rules and all!) They meet 1 x week during lunch and create fun art projects. Take a look at last week’s DIY Snowflake! I’m SO inspired!
